Within the programme you will explore entrepreneurship as an for option for corporate innovation and new venture creation, gain basic business understanding, develop knowledge of how to commercialise your research, and develop a network of likeminded researchers facing similar challenges.
Preisverleihung des 26. Funpreneur-Wettbewerbs der Freien Universität
„Let me be an Artist“ gewinnt mit der Idee des Verkaufs von im Kunstunterricht kreierten Schülerwerken den ersten Platz des diesjährigen Funpreneur-Wettbewerbs. Ein Preisgeld von 1.200,- Euro kürt die Erstplatzierten. Platz 2 gewinnt das Team „Reyoo“ (800,- Euro). Reyoo stellte den Prototypen einer hitzeresistenten Kochschürze für Rollstuhlfahrer vor. LimoLab erhält Platz 3 mit einer Yuzu- Limonade aus kandierten Früchten und erhält hierfür 400,- Euro. Team Bienenfleiss gewann gleich drei Preise und nahm den PR-Preis (400,- Euro), den Responsible Entrepreneurship Preis (250,- Euro) und den Publikumspreis (200,- Euro) entgegen.

Digital Startup Ecosystem on Health & Bio Data
On the 7th of November 2018 Prof. Dr. Hannes Rothe (DEH, Freie Universität Berlin) succesfully hosted the event entitled “Digital Startup Ecosystem” within the framework of the Berlin Science Week at the Einstein Center Digital Future for the second time. This year’s topic “Health and Bio Data”. Approximately 70 participants joined Hannes Rothe and Prof. Dr. Sirkka Jarvenpaa (McCombs School of Business) on their discussion on the influence of interlinked Health Data on entrepreneurial activities.
